The prices at Amazon are amazingly low. It is deep and wide enough to handle 4 to 5 average size chicken breast. I have been using this for over 2 years and it is still going strong. This is by far my favorite pan. Look out for their Daily deals or Friday sales for the best deals. The handles stay cool and the weight is easy to handle (I can't stand some of these copper-based HEAVY pans that are impossible to handle with one hand).I like that it browns meat and veggies very evenly. It is the prefect size and shape for cooking most dishes - from sauteing to making soup. I even use this for my one-pot chicken noodle soup where I poach my chicken breasts in broth with all the veggies.
It is not. it works pretty well. I had to take things out little but little until it is light enough for me to lift it by one arm) #2 I think it is safer than than Teflon, or DuPon coatings. Do think about the good sides. My cast-iron one can't cook tomato. When I first got it, I hated so much as everything would stick to it, leaving the pan bottom discolored.
(Although handle is not very convenient, it is too short, does not yield enough leverage to allow one arm to lift it - at least for my weak arm. Anyway, you can't use it as Non-stick. As I don't like to return unless it is really bad, I tried to get used to it and was indeed able to discover a few things good about it. #5, I have used it to make pan fry frozen Chinese style pancake. Returning merchandise wastes time, energy, and causes business harder to make money at such difficult time :-) First, it is lightweight.
#3, it encourages healthy cooking as you have to use lower temperature to avoid food gets sticked to the pan#4, if my understanding is correct, you can use Hard-Anodized to cook food that contains acid.
I would not purchase another one. Everything sticks to this pan and I mean everything. I am not at all happy with this product especially for the price I paid.
Recommend to NO ONE, unless you wish to waste money. Lid was fine. pot lasted less than thirty days. Rusted and chipped.
It is a great product. The metal lid inspires a little more confidence than the glass cover on other pans (blame it on my clumsiness.). It is easy to use and clean, and a very versatile pan. The price was very reasonable too.
